Bandwidth Options from Avensys

Many customers choose to co-locate in one of our data centres and take an Internet connection from us. This can be provided over copper or fibre with speeds up to 10Gb/s depending on your requirements. You can then simply buy the bandwidth you require, using one of the bandwidth options below.

• Limited Bandwidth connection –bandwidth is limited to whatever you want between 1Mb and several Gb, with no burst available. This can be easily upgraded should your requirements increase. This is most suited to customers who have an identifiable, regular pattern of Internet usage or where strict control of costs is required.

Bandwidth Only

• Bursting Bandwidth – a normal bandwidth level is agreed (e.g. 50Mb), but you are set up to be able to burst to a level agreed in advance (e.g. 200Mb) should you need it. Pricing for this is usually based on a committed data rate plus a rate per Mb for burst. This is most suited to customers who aren't prepared to have their connectivity compromised if their users utilise more than expected.
• Pay As You Go Bandwidth – this is provided in Gb per month, where you simply pay for the bandwidth you actually use four weeks in arrears. This is most suited to customers with low day to day usage who might need to cope with large spikes e.g. when streaming.
